War Diaries Of 2 Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers 1944

The Irish Brigade web site is pleased to add transcriptions of the 1944 war diaries of the 2nd Battalion, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers (2 Innisks) that provide a day by day narrative of the battalion’s actions during that most difficult of years from the time they joined 38 (Irish) Brigade in August 1944 to winter patrolling in the high Apennines to the aftermath of the bitter fighting at the Gothic Line in Northern Italy.
