The Irish Brigade web site is pleased to add the January 1944 to August 1944 war diaries of the 6th Battalion, Royal Innskilling Fusiliers that provide a day by day narrative of the battalion's actions from their winter in the mountains near Castel Di Sangro to their disbandment after the successful breakthrough at Lake Trasimeno.
